I reached out to fitness expert Stella Bergan. I was interested to learn what her response to this question would be.

If you only had 10 minutes to do exercise, what would you recommend doing and why?

When I have only 10 minutes in the morning to exercise, my choice is almost always a combination of yoga and animal flow moves. I create a free flow combination of the two.

I love yoga/animal flow combos because they are great for improving joint mobility, tissue hydration, and activation of neural pathways since I mix up the combinations. There are many other benefits as well including improving stability with mobility, tissue resilience, strength, balance. You really get a little bit of everything. It is a great way to start your day!

I have included a short flow video.

I really liked the focus on short, effective workouts—ten minutes is doable even on the busiest days, and it actually adds up when you stay consistent. I usually squeeze in some bodyweight moves before work, and I’ve started wearing a white silicone ring from Casual Carats during these quick sessions. It’s lightweight, doesn’t slide around, and I don’t have to take it off every time I move. Honestly, it's been one of those small upgrades that make daily routines feel smoother.
